The Constitutional Court has dismissed Raffi Hovannisian's and Andrias
Ghukasyan's motion to involve the acting president Serzh Sargsyan as
witness or third party to the investigation.
Andrias Ghukasyan was dissatisfied with the fact that Serzh Sargsyan
is represented by Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan and head of NA
Committee on State and Legal Issues David Harutiunyan. According to
him, a public official cannot attend a court hearing. The chairman of
the Constitutional Court Gagik Harutiunyan said that Hrayr Tovmasyan
does not act as minister of justice but as a lawyer.
