YEREVAN. - The news, with respect to an Azerbaijani soldier being
killed by an Armenian sniper shot, is misinformation, Armenian
defense minister's press secretary, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, told
Armenian News-NEWS.am.
"This information is not true; the Armenian party adheres to the
ceasefire," Hovhannisyan stressed.
According to Azerbaijani media, Azerbaijani soldier Ali Abilov (born
in 1994) was allegedly killed, on Sunday at the line of contact,
as a result of an Armenian sniper shot.
To note, the Azerbaijani party, as a rule, portrays as "victims of
ceasefire violation" its soldiers that die in its own army, and under
extraordinary circumstances.
