POLITICAL EXPERT: PROSPEROUS ARMENIA WILL BE THE KEY RIVAL OF HERITAGE DURING THE FORTHCOMING ELECTIONS INTO YEREVAN'S ELDERS COUNCIL

During the forthcoming elections into Yerevan's Elders Council Heritage
Party will secure as many votes as it did during the past presidential
race, Deputy Director of the Caucasus Institute, political expert
Sergey Minasyan told journalists on Tuesday.
He said that the key rival of Heritage during the elections will be
Prosperous Armenia Party, who has much more money and is also eager
to have more votes.
Minasyan said that Raffi Hovannisian's hunger strike will bring no
changes in the political situation in Armenia. "They need much more
active steps. They simply did not expect such a turn of events and
are now forced to improvise," the expert said.
He said that now that Raffi Hovannisian and Serzh Sargsyan have met
there will hardly be any disturbances.
