RUSSIA IS ARMENIA'S STRATEGIC PARTNER - SARGSYAN

- Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday used the opportunity
of the meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to congratulate
him again on his convincing victory in the presidential election.
"Your convincing victory bespeaks of people's trust and enables you
to carry out the plans you made during the election campaign," Putin
said, addressing Sargsyan.
Expressing gratitude for congratulations, the Armenian President
said it was natural that his first visit abroad after the election
was to Russia. "Russia is our strategic partner, and that's that,"
Sargsyan said.
The Armenian President invited Vladimir Putin to make a state visit
to Armenia.
