ARMENIAN ACTOR OFFERS SOLUTION TO POLITICAL IMPASSE (VIDEO)

Actor Sergey Danielyan says pressure mechanisms against the authorities
could offer the best solution to the current political crisis in
Armenia.
"We have a national academy and thousands of political analysts, as
well as people understanding a couple of things in politics. So they
can create pressure mechanisms," he told Tert.am at Liberty Square
where he visited Wednesday afternoon to express solidarity with Raffi
Hovhannisian, the former presidential candidate who is now there on
a hunger-strike.
The actor said he does not believe changes are possible at the current
stage. "This period of romance will probably end, and they will get
down to business later," he said.
Danielyan added that the authorities may agree to concessions in case
they see the opposing forces offering mechanisms instead of continuing
the protests.
