ARGENTINEAN-ARMENIANS' CENTENNIAL HISTORY ARCHIVE MATERIALS PRESENTED IN COMPREHENSIVE WORK

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS: The presentation of the book entitled
"Immigration of the Armenians to Argentina: Description of Centennial
History in Accordance with Passengers List (1889-1979)" launched in
"Siranuysh" hall of Buenos Aires Armenian center on March 12. The
book authored by Nelida Bulghurjyan and Juan Carlos Tufeksyan was
published by the Armenian Genocide fund. As the Press, Information
and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the Republic of Armenia told Armenpress, Armenian Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Argentina Vahagn Melikyan,
Head of the Argentina and Chili Dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic
Church Archbishop Kisak Muradyan, Armenian community representatives
and journalists attended the ceremony.
The unique book is a result of thorough efforts exerted by the
authors. Argentinean cities providing shelter to our compatriots are
separately depicted in the book.
