78 on March 15...
French actor and the legendary mime Marcel Marceau called Yengibarov
genius of pantomime and great poet of movement. Armenian film director
Sergei Parajanov said Yengibarov was the only unmatched actor who
could not be replaced by anyone. His art warmed up human souls,
overjoyed hearts and cleansed minds.
People loved and worshiped Yengibarov. Many of his colleagues were
jealous of him...
Leonid Yengibarov who had a transparent childish spirit and
exceptional talent, passed away at the age of 37. He died leaving
future generations his films, wonderful novels and his unique world,
which will leave for ever.
