ENERGY MINISTER DOES NOT DENY OWNING VANADZOR-KHIMPROM

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisian did not
deny owning Vanadzor-Khimrom chemical factory during a talk with the
correspondent of "Zhamanak" daily. Responding to a question about that,
he gave an evasive answer: "You know, a few days ago I read that I
own 70% of Ukraine's metallurgy industry. I would be glad to own it".
When asked if the price of natural gas supplied by Russia will
increase, Movsisian said the negotiations will continue in the summer
and probably end in the autumn. In his words, in any event the gas
price may increase next year. Armen Movsisian did not say how much
the gas price will rise.
