Aghvan Vardanyan, Secretary of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation
Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) parliamentary group, believes Armenia's
authorities must be as serious about finding a way out of the
post-election situation in Armenia as Armenian ex-presidential
candidate Raffi Hovannisian.
"They must join their efforts to find a way out of the situation,"
he told journalists on Tuesday.
"A solution is only possible in the political arena and through a
political consent," Mr Vardanyan said.
After Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's meeting with media
representatives, Mr Hovannisian received a proposal and responded to
it, which means something.
Asked whether the ARF-D will be present at Serzh Sargsyan's
inauguration or at Raffi Hovannisian's on April 9, Mr Vardanyan said,
"When the day comes it will be clear where the ARF-D is."
As to the possibility of the ARF-D supporting Raffi Hovannisian,
Mr Vardanyan said the party cannot say anything if it does not know
what the "leader in the square is going to say."
