ARF WILL MAKE TARON A DISTRICT HEAD

"Although the government has already begun to use its whole
administrative resources to win in the municipal elections but to
change, however, is expected to be",- Today "Armenian Revolutionary
Federation" party's secretary , ARF's deputy supreme body Aghvan
Vardanyan mentioned during a meeting with reporters.
Talking about the acting mayor Taron Margaryan, ARF representative
mentioned that he did not share the opinion that he is the best mayor
of the past 20 years: "Taron Margaryan has been a very good district
head and I think that after this election he can come back again and
be the head of district Avan".
Mr. Vardanyan said that during these municipal elections ARF
is participating with all its possibilities. "We have a team and
principles; we are not a political party of one individual. Although we
have had shortcomings, but we have never deviated from our principles".
Aghvan Vardanyan noted that, despite the efforts of ARF to convince
the opposition to be presented as a united team, they failed:
"We are going in separate ways and maybe this is better".
He noted that the Republican Party has more votes in favor of its
party since so-called local authorities of the districts are creating
an atmosphere of fear for the inhabitants.
