EDUCATIONAL MODELS TO BE ELABORATED IN SECOND INTERNATIONAL NURSING CONGRESS IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, MARCH 28, ARMENPRESS: Armenia's second international nursing
congress named "Nursing: Transition from Profession into Practice" is
scheduled to be hosted in capital Yerevan on September 18-20. In the
briefing with Armenpress, nursing chief specialist of the Ministry of
Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia Alina Kushkyan stated that the
congress enables chance to nurses to unite and share their knowledge
and experience based on their practice.
"The objective of the congress is the development of the sector,
the exchange of experience, introducing local specialist with all
the changes and innovations of the sector taking place in the world,"
Kushkyan stated .
The congress objectives are strategic directions for strengthening
nursing and midwifery services, to advance the science of nursing
innovation and new technologies to influence research, practice,
education, administration, and healthcare policy, to advance and
improve access to, and quality of, health services; to demonstrate the
role of nurse leaders and their contribution towards better health of
individuals, families and communities, to develop educational models
that address the challenges of nursing practice, to enhance Simulation
Education in nursing, to explore innovative strategies to promote
excellence in global nursing practice, to explore opportunities for
international collaboration in nursing, to provide opportunities for
integration of Armenian Nurses into the Global Nursing Community.
