BAKO SAHAKYAN PRAISES EFFORTS TO DEVELOP IT IN KARABAKH

President of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan attended
on Friday a agreement signing ceremony between the software company,
"Synopsis Armenia" and the leading mobile and landline telephony
operator, "Karabakh Telecom".
According to a press release by the Nagorno-Karabakh Presidential
Office, the solemn event was held at the Artsakh State University.
The president later received both companies CEOs - Hovik Musaelyan and
Ralph Yirikyan - in his office to discuss possibilities of developing
the IT industries in the country.
Sahakyan highlighted the agreement's importance in terms of the
promoting the sector's future development and securing a progress in
higher education and science.
The president expressed belief that the deal would lay solid
foundations for boosting the country's scientific potential and
promoting Karabakh's future integration to global processes.
The meeting was also attended by NKR Minister of Education and Science
Slava Asryan.
