Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik who has made an assessment of
the 1915 incidents says that both Turks and Armenians suffered .
In an interview to the Agos newspaper published both in Turkish and
Armenian, Celik said that seeking to settle accounts should be left
out of the circuit for a solution. Celik also called on the Armenian
diaspora to be more careful and stressed that the diaspora is being
detrimental to the Armenian identity.
