On April 23 Gayane Sarukhanian, the headmistress of Yerevan secondary
school after Chekhov, beat Natalia Sargsyan, the mother of a schoolgirl
named Lidia, according to "Zhoghovurd" paper.
"The headmistress sent Lidia home because the girl wore an
inappropriate dress instead of a uniform. Her mother came to the school
and demanded explanations. G. Sarukhanian used some impermissible
words. The parent recorded the conversation. When the headmistress
noticed that, she called a security guard and a teacher who used
violence against Natalia. G. Sarukhanian refuted the fact of violence,
saying that it was a quiet conversation," the paper writes.
