BAKO SAHAKYAN SIGNED SEVERAL DECREES ON 21ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF SHOUSHI

YEREVAN, MAY 2, ARMENPRESS. On 2 May in connection with the Victory
Day, the Day of the NKR Defence Army and 21st anniversary of the
Liberation of Shoushi President of the Artsakh Republic President Bako
Sahakyan signed several decrees. The Central information Department of
the Artsakh Republic President informed "Armenpress" that for personal
bravery shown during the defence of the Motherland 5 individuals were
awarded with the Medal "For Courage".
For successful performance of combat missions, raising combat readiness
of the forces as well as courage shown while defending state borders
224 individuals, 10 of them posthumously were awarded with the Medal
"For Service in Battle".
For personal bravery shown during the battles for the liberation of
Shoushi 26 individuals, three of them posthumously were awarded with
the Medal "For Liberation of Shoushi".
On the same day President Sahakyan signed an order on handing in
valuable gifts to a group of Great Patriotic and Artsakh war veterans,
Defence Army servicemen, relatives of perished freedom-fighters and
missing in action soldiers.
