Lonely woman, 92, lives in shack in Armenia's Gyumri - Video
19:50 - 04.05.13
A 92-year-old resident of Armenia's second largest city, Gyumri, has
been living in a desolate shack since the 1988 devastating earthquake
that ruined the city, leaving hundreds dead.
The husband of Manya Grigoryan, who lost a two room apartment after
the disaster, had gone missing in the Great Patriotic War (World War
II). The woman says a certificate which she received from the state
for purchasing an apartment has been lost, leaving her homeless for
years.
Below is the video material prepared by the Gyumri-based center Shirak.
