Armavia's `recovery' to have heavy toll on Armenia's economy - newspaper
May 04, 2013 | 08:51
YEREVAN. - The resumption of the operations of Armavia Airline
Company, which is Armenia's national carrier, will worsen further the
country's air transportation sector, Zhamanak daily reports.
`The `Minimum Primary Terms for the `Recovery' of the Air
Transportation Sector and Resumption of the Activities of the Airline
Company' package assumes huge privileges for the company.
Working monopolistically, [and] under privileged conditions for long
years, Armavia had an unprecedentedly awkward management and it was
providing extremely poor quality services.
Now, receiving even greater privileges, this company will provide even
poorer quality and pricier services,' Zhamanak writes.
