DOING BUSINESS: SEDA AFYAN DEVELOPED NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR BREAD PRODUCTION

The small-to-medium business is of a certain importance for the
steadfast economic growth of a country, as it gives innovational
impulses to the economy. "Armenpress" News Agency highly appreciates
the significant role the small-to-medium business plays; each week
"Armenpress" introduces business stories regarding various branches
of economy. This time the project is dedicated to the story of a
woman entrepreneur, who urges the beginners to risk and become true
experts of the field.
YEREVAN, MAY 2, ARMENPRESS. Seda Afyan lives in the Kotayk Province.
Here she invented her business. She said: "Three years ago I
investigated the market and found out that our people need right kind
of bread without food supplements, and lavash without yeast. And I
launched my first attempts to start the production. I was already
familiar with the bread production and I developed my own technology."
In 2013 she was awarded with "Best Woman Entrepreneur"
prize of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia
in nomination "Best Beginner Woman Entrepreneur". (THE
