MONTENEGRO TO ESTABLISH FLEXIBLE VISA REGIME FOR ARMENIAN CITIZENS

YEREVAN, MAY 7, ARMENPRESS: Armenia and Montenegro have wide
opportunities to expand their friendly relations. This was stated by
the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European
Integration of Montenegro Igor LukÅ¡iÄ~M at the press conference held
on May 7. "Armenia and Montenegro are in good relations, but we have
agreed to get involved in closer political negotiations to develop
our cooperation in the forthcoming future", - stated the Minister of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro, as reported
by Armenpress.
Igor LukÅ¡iÄ~M noted that he and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of
the Republic of Armenia Eduard Nalbandyan mainly discussed the issues
related to the economic cooperation and investments protection, as
well as the development of the bilateral tourism relations. "In this
case it is quite important to encourage the ministries, tour agents and
air companies to organize charter flights between the two countries",
- said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of
Montenegro. In summer Montenegro will continue establishing flexible
visa regime for the Armenian citizens.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Eduard
Nalbandyan stated that during their meeting with Igor LukÅ¡iÄ~M they
discussed as well the prospects of the development of the commercial
and economic, education and scientific and cultural relations. Eduard
Nalbandyan informed his counterpart about the current efforts made
by Armenia and the international community in the settlement process
of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue.
The Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and
European Integration of Montenegro Igor LukÅ¡iÄ~M arrived in Armenia
on May 6-7 with an official visit by the invitation of the Minister of
Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Nalbandyan. During
the visit the Montenegro Deputy Prime Minister will be hosted by the
President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the President
of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan and the Prime Minister of
Armenia Tigran Sargsyan.
