Belarus President offers most favorable terms to Armenia

YEREVAN, 13 May (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to provide Armenian
partners with the most favorable terms for making investments and
starting business. The statement was made by President of Belarus
Alexander Lukashenko after negotiations with President of Armenia
Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan on 13 May, BelTA has learned.
`Belarus is ready to provide Armenian partners with the most favorable
terms for making investments and starting business. We believe there
are good prospects of investment cooperation in mechanical
engineering, information technologies, pharmaceutics, agriculture,
energy saving, food production,' said the Belarus President.
`We expect a dialogue both with businessmen from Armenia and with
representatives of the Armenian diaspora abroad,' noted the Belarusian
leader. In turn, Serzh Sargsyan said that the negotiations had touched
upon concrete and most promising plans in the sphere of trade,
economic, and investment cooperation, in securing the mutual access of
merchandise and services to the markets of Belarus and Armenia. There
is also an interest in cooperation in agriculture, tourism, culture,
science, and high technologies.
