Human Rights Defender office reps visit protesting freedom-fighters

Yeranuhi Tumanyants, Defender of Military Servicemen's Rights at the
Armenian Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) office, and Andrey
Aghamalyan, Head of the rapid response group, visited on Monday
Colonel Volodya Avetisyan, a freedom-fighter who is staging a sit-down
protest in Freedom Square, as well as about 20 freedom-fighters that
joined him.
The freedom-fighters informed the human rights defenders of their
numerous problems - from housing to free medicines.
The experts advised the freedom-fighters to submit official
applications to the RA Ombudsman Office staff for a detailed study of
their situation. The freedom-fighters intend to submit individual
applications after submitting a joint application to Armenia's
government.
