YEREVAN, MAY 13, ARMENPRESS: The mission of helping the children of
the border village of Chinari united the efforts of some benefactors.
The packages with sweets and clothes for more than 160 children and
toys and stationary for the Chinari school and kindergarten were
transferred to the village on May 11. The initiative belongs to the
journalist of Azg Daily Hasmik Harutyunyan and our compatriot
benefactors living in the United States. The presented clothes and
toys were taken to Chinari by the cars provided by the President of
the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan.
As reported by Armenpress, the clothes will be provided to the
neediest families. The enthusiasm of the children of the border
village of Chinari was boundless.
Notwithstanding the fact that the village is being regularly fired,
and even the burial ceremonies have to be carried out at nights, the
population of Chinari decided to make sowing this year to ease their
burdens. By the way, it is worth mentioning that on May 11 as well the
enemy fired shots in the direction of the village.
The village of Chinari, having 1256 people, is one of the border
settlements of Tavush Marz, which needs serious care.
