Branch of Armenian-Belarusian trading house "Ar-Be" opens in Yerevan today
The symbolic red ribbon was cut by the Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Stepan Sukhorenko and the
representatives of the business circles of Armenia. The trading house
appeared in Yerevan in 2010. About 11.000 items of Belarusian products
are presented in the trading house and its annual turnover reaches USD
10 million. The opening of the branch, where the exclusive food
product group is presented, is the expansion of successful practice.
The Belarusian product store was opened in the center of Yerevan. It
sells products which are in wide demand among local residents.
The commodity turnover between the two countries is not big. But the
parties plan to increase it by several times in the near future,
including by creating joint assembly facilities and cooperating in the
investment sphere. In particular, according to Stepan Sukhorenko, a
number of breakthrough projects in industrial cooperation and
agriculture are planned.
