Armenian PM discusses investment programs with German businessmen

YEREVAN. - Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a
business delegation led by Rainer Lindner, the Executive Director of
the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations of Germany.
Sargsyan expressed a hope that the German businessmen's visit to
Armenia will stimulate the deepening of bilateral economic relations,
the Armenian Government press service informs.
`Germany is one of our primary partners in the economic domain. There
are numerous successful bilateral programs,' the PM added.
In his turn, Lindner stated that the German side stands ready to carry
out practical programs, and noted that they are interested in
collaboration in several domains.
In this context, the German businessmen introduced PM Sargsyan their
investment projects, and Sargsyan expressed willingness to provide
respective assistance.
Furthermore, Rainer Lindner thanked Armenia's premier for conducting a
policy that is geared toward signing the Armenia-EU Deep and
Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. The German guests also welcomed
the Armenian government's decision to lift visa requirements for the
citizens of EU-member countries.
The parties also discussed regional matters.
