Artsvik Minasyan: Increase in gas price will lead to large-scale inflation

The public is protesting against the policy carried out in Armenia,
member of ARFD parliamentary faction Artsvik Minasyan told reporters
during today's protest near the building of the Armenian government.
A group of citizens organized today a protest near the building of the
Armenian government against the increase in gas price.
Head of ARFD parliamentary faction Armen Rustamyan, members of Barev
Yerevan bloc Armen Poghosyan and Arthur Ispiryan also participated in
the protest.
`The aim of this action is to make the authorities realize the
responsibility that lays on their shoulders,' Minasyan said.
`The increase in gas price will lead to a large-scale inflation. So,
this process needs to be stopped. It is necessary to increase pensions
and allowances and only then to pass to a planned increase of the gas
price,' the MP said.
