KARABAKH GOVERNMENT PURSUED MACROECONOMIC STABILITY AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN 2012
STEPANAKERT, May 17. /ARKA/. The 2012 social and economic policy of
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) government aimed at macroeconomic
stability, high economic growth rates and reforms, the country's
minister of finance and economy Spartak Tevosyan said at the
presentation of 2012 budget annual report in the parliament.
In 2012, economic growth stood at 9.9%, nominal GDP was 150 billion
drams compared to 135.5bln drams in 2011, according to the report.
Expenditures were 67,343,806,500 drams, which is 95% of what was
planned.
Government receipts were 28,755,606,101 drams, an increase of 11.6%.
The deficit was financed from loan funds, the clear balance and
receipts from loan repayments, and totaled 2,785,467,300 drams,
Tevosyan said. Karabakh has received the full amount of the loan from
Armenia, he said.
After the presentation, the annual report will be discussed at the
standing commissions and parliament factions.-0--
