Coca-Cola Armenia targets 40 mln. liters sales in 2013
YEREVAN, May 17. /ARKA/. Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia
is planning to sell around 40 million liters of its products in 2013,
general director of the company Gagik Danielyan said.
"We posted a growth this year. Unfortunately, I cannot tell the
volumes, but we keep recording year-to-year increases", Danielyan said
at a joint press conference with US ambassador to Armenia John
Heffern.
Since the beginning of its activities in Armenia, the company has
increased its production volumes by almost four times, he said.
Danielyan also said the company buys part of the required raw
materials from local producers. The company is ready to buy sugar and
bottles in Armenia as well if local manufacturers ensure the required
quality and certification, the general director said.
Ambassador Heffern who visited the company today on 17 years of
Coca-CVola's presence in Armenia said Coca-Cola is one of the biggest
American companies and an American symbol.
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia has been operating in
Armneia for 15 years now, since 1996. During the period, the company's
sales exceeded 400 million liters in the country.
Capital investments totaled over 7.5 billion drams (over $20mln) in
the last five years.
Today the company offers 68 kinds of products, with 98% of it produced
in Armenia. Among its mainstream products are bubble beverages such as
Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, sparkling and spring water, natural juices,
