Another round of political consultations on Nagorno-Karabakh
settlement held in Baku

- The co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group, acting as the mediators in
the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, had on Thursday a
regular round of political consultations with the Azerbaijani
leadership.
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev received on Thursday the
international mediators Igor Popov of Russia, Ian Kelly of the United
States, Jacques Faure of France and Andrzej Kasprzyk, personal
representative of the OSCE chairperson-in-office, says a report on the
Azerbaijani president's website. The meeting discussed the state of
and prospects for the talks on peace settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," says the report. The details of the
meeting held in a confidential atmosphere are not given. The
co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group are expected to leave for Yerevan
on Thursday for consultations with the Armenian leaders.
Meanwhile a number of local media reported with a reference to
diplomats whose names are not given that the international mediators,
in the framework of the visit to the region, will suggest to the
presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia to hold a meeting in Salzburg,
Austria, on June 12. The two heads of state last met in Kazan almost
two years ago, in June 2011. Russia then organized the meeting.
