Lyudmila Sargsyan surprised that people do not protest against gas
price increase

Member of Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary faction,
leader of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) Lyudmila Sargsyan is
surprised that the people do not protest against the increase in gas
price.
The gas price increase will lead to an increase in consumer prices,
she told today's news conference.
`Life is becoming more and more expensive, and I am surprised why the
people do not protest against it,' she said.
Ms Sargsyan repeated Levon Zurabyan's recent statement that the
authorities knew about the increase in gas price still before the
elections but concealed that information and said that Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan should resign together with the government.
`Maybe after Tigran Sargsyan's resignation the people could hope for
the improvement of the current situation,' the SDHP leader concluded.
