Karabakh President receives French lawmakers

STEPANAKERT. - President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh)
Bako Sahakyan received a group of the French National Assembly and
Senate representatives who are on a visit to Artsakh.
President Sahakyan characterized relationship with France as one of
the most important directions of NKR's foreign policy, stressing the
need to maintain and deepen strong ties between the parliaments of the
two countries. In this context, the President considered important
establishment of France-Artsakh friendship circle.
A number of issues related domestic and foreign policy of Karabakh,
regional trends and the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict were also
discussed during the meeting.
Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan and other
officials were present at the meeting.
