AMBASSADOR OF POLAND: NEITHER EU NOR ARMENIA REJECTED ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT
Aravot Daily has held an exclusive interview with the ambassador of
Poland to Armenia ZdzisÅ~Baw RaczyÅ~Dski. Today the website of the
newspaper published a small part of the interview where the ambassador
says it is not exactly true that the EU Association Agreement with
Armenia is a secret because hundreds of people of the Armenian side,
experts and politicians, have participated in the preparation of this
document. This agreement is familiar to most people in government,
and I am sure that our Russian counterparts are also familiar with
it and they know that it is just a regulatory document. He says he
admits that non-publication of the document caused misinterpretations
but the sides to the agreement, the European commission and Armenia,
have not rejected it, and it is still on the table but there is no
progress for the time being.
