ARMENIAN RAPID-REACTION SERVICE TO BE DISBANDED

Armenian Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan said at the joint session of
parliamentary commissions today that the rapid-reaction service
may be disbanded due to financial problems, News.am reports.The
service requested 244 million drams, but the 2014 budget has only
provided 213 million drams. Only three out of six regional officers
will continue work.Andreasyan noted that the rapid-reaction service
needed 10 million drams. The service got 1025 calls and reacted
to demonstrations, marches, conflicts and detentions in 273 cases
