YEREVAN,OCTOBER 31,ARMENPRESS. The answer of the various opinions
about the membership of the Republic of Armenia with the Customs Union
was given in the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council
which was held in Minsk on October 24. Deputy Minister of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan expressed such
a viewpoint at the course of the discussion held in the National
Assembly. "A corresponding document was signed at the summit which
all the leaders of member countries of the Customs Union signed, by
the way, one document was not signed, " Shavarsh Kocharyan pointed
out adding that there was also a political statement.
According to him, by the signed documents the sides approved the wish
of the Republic of Armenia to join the Customs Union. "The membership
of Armenia with the Customs Union is a serious and difficult process
that we must carry out it," Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of
the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan highlighted it.
Touching upon the report of the Russian first TV channel, where
a viewpoint was expressed that the Republic of Armenia will not
join the Customs Union because of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
settlement, Shavarsh Kocharyan stated that this view is anacceptable
for the Russian authorities."Moreover, I can say, that it was the
expression of the wish of the third side, which became impossible
as the corresponding documents were signed on October 24," Shavarsh
Kocharyan underscored
