Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations has launched inspections
in private companies in an attempt to extort fines, the paper the
paper says, citing reports.
The reasons vary in range, the paper says, staring from "non-compliance
with technical regulations" finishing with "non-proper fire
precaution".
The sources which have reported the paper on the fines have said that
representatives from Ministry subdivisions first demand a big amount
and later agree, as a result of "negotiations", to mitigate the fine.
