Navasardyan: Civil society helps state by showing real level of reforms

Popular diplomacy may be useful in case the positions of the sides of
the Armenian-Azeri conflict are directed to solution of the problems,
chairman of Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardyan told a news
conference in Yerevan, while commenting on role of NGOs in popular
diplomacy.
Navasardyan noted that NGOs are often accused of `taking the garbage
out of the country" to the international arena.
`Yet, civil society helps the state raise the efficiency of reforms by
showing the real level of the reforms,' he said.
