ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MEETS CHAIRMAN OF EEC BOARD

President Serzh Sargsyan received today the delegation headed by Victor
Khristenko, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission
(EEC), President's Press Office reports.
The interlocutors discussed a broad framework of issues related to
our country's cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission. In
this context reference was made to the memorandum on deepening of the
cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Economic
Commission and the results of the first meeting of the working groups.
The parties agreed that the signing of the memorandum creates a
solid basis for cooperation between Armenia and the Eurasian Economic
Commission.
Serzh Sargsyan and Victor Khristenko underlined that there is lot of
work to be done after Armenia's statement to join the Customs Union
and the decision of the heads of CU member states on the issue,
and reiterated their willingness to complete the process as soon
as possible.
