ARMENIAN SCHOOL BOY KILLED IN DAMASCUS BLAST

DAMASCUS. - An Armenian schoolboy was killed and several others were
wounded in a mortar blast in Damascus, Editor-in-Chief of Lebanon-based
Aztag daily toldArmenian News-NEWS.am.
Shahan Kandaharian said the explosion occurred near Bab Shakri bridge,
near the Armenian St. Sargis church and National Armenian "Surb
Targmanchats" school. The blast occurred when the school children
were leaving the school.
Official Syrian media reported about at least five school children
killed in the blast.
