The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan,
met with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Livanov during an official
visit to Russia. The parties discussed education and the questions
which were raised during the 15th session of the Armenian-Russian
intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation which took
place on October 1, the press service of the Ministry of Education
and Science reports.
The parties discussed the opening of a Russian high school in Yerevan
and the possibility of teaching the Armenian language in Russian
cities with a high percentage of Armenian population as well as the
opening of a branch of Moscow State University in Yerevan.
