ARMENIAN PRESIDENT SENDS CONDOLENCE TELEGRAM TO PRESIDENT OF CYPRUS

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a telegram of condolence
to Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades in connection with the death
of former President of Cyprus Glafcos Clerides, the press service of
the Armenian president said.
Serzh Sargsyan highly appreciated the ex-president Glafcos
Clerides's contribution to the strengthening of Cypriot statehood
and socioeconomic prosperity, as well as his personal contribution
to the development of centuries-old Armenian-Cypriot friendship and
his kind attitude to the Armenian community of Cyprus.
Glafcos Clerides died on November 15 at the age of 94.
