YEREVAN PREPARES FOR 2795TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS

YEREVAN. - Mayor Taron Margaryan of Armenia's capital city Yerevan
chaired a working consultation meeting devoted to the preparations
for the 2795th anniversary events of the founding of Yerevan.
Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan reported that the ongoing activities
toward the external artistic lighting of the capital city are being
completed, informs the Yerevan Municipality Information and Public
Relations Department.
It was also reported that the placement of the 2795th anniversary
posters and banners are still in progress.
In addition, it was informed that the setting up of about thirty
festive stages proceeds according to schedule.
Margaryan instructed the respective persons in charge to keep the
preparations under constant control and to regularly report on the
activities.
