There were some amazing howlers in the text of the Armenia-EU
Association Agreement, says Sergey Glazyev, Academician of the Russian
Academy of Science, Advisor to President of Russia, Komsomoslkaya
Pravda writes.
Under the Agreement, Glazyev said, Armenia pledges to fulfill the
EU's directives in the field of sea fishing and cross-border trading
with the EU, though Armenia has neither access to the sea nor borders
with the EU.
"Armenia's representatives responsible for the negotiations have not
even read the text. If Armenia signed that document, it would lose
its sovereignty in the same field as Ukraine did. Armenia would lose
the opportunity to participate in the Eurasian integration process
and would have to leave our structures of preferential economic
cooperation," the Russian academician said.
