PRE-PARLIAMENT: SUPPORTERS OF REPUBLICAN MP SAMVEL ALEKSANYAN CHASE ZHIRAYR SEFILYAN

The supporters of the Republican Party of Armenia Samvel Aleksanyan
chase a member of the Pre-Parliament NGO, Karabakh War participant,
Zhirayr Sefilyan.
Pre-Parliament told ArmInfo that a BMW car was chasing him for some
30 minutes up to his home overnight. Sefilyan supposes that a certain
Rubo, Aleksanyan's supporter chased him.
"On 9 October a representative of the parliamentarian got out of the
Republican's car and approached Sefilyan near the Indoor Market,"
the Pre-Parliament said in a statement.
"From now on, the Armenian people will be dictating their will to
the authorities and their minions," the authors of the statement say.
Zhirayr Sefilyan is one of the activists of the Lets Save Yerevan's
Cultural Monuments Movement, which protests against the Indoor Market's
transformation into a supermarket. The Indoor Market is included in
the list of the city architectural monuments.
