Europe must elaborate mechanisms to defend Eastern Partnership states,
MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski said.
He is confident that the measures taken by Russia in fact pushed
some of the states to consolidation and final choice for Europe. In
particular, he noted that it helped Ukraine and Moldova to move ahead,
while Armenia "surrendered."
Speaking at the international conference "The Way Ahead for the
Eastern Partnership" in Kyiv, member of the European Parliament said
EU must support these states and protect them from Russia's influence,
RIA Novosti reported.
