BAKU. Oct 15
Azerbaijan has continually demonstrated its adherence to constructive
policies and expects Armenia to take an appropriate stand on the
Karabakh peace process, said Azeri Presidential Administration Head
Ramiz Mehdiyev.
"Obviously, the efforts should focus on reciprocal and real compromises
and [the parties] should be guided by principles of the supremacy of
international laws. Our country has repeatedly displayed its adherence
to the spirit of constructive approaches and it expects an appropriate
position from the Armenian side. Peace settlement possibilities have
not been spent and must be used," Mehdiyev said.
"The public patience is not unlimited and it is important for all
sides which take an interest in problems in the South Caucasus,
including Western states, to understand this reality," he emphasized.
