the Armavia air company was closed down over bankruptcy earlier this
year, without giving the unpaid salaries to its staff and paying off
    the debts to foreign airports.

Specialists talking to the paper have reportedly said that the trip is
linked to very big expanses. Apart from two Armenian representatives,
Mika also has a female chess player from India, as well as a a Georgian
grand master, says the paper, adding that the fact implies , implies
big honorariums, travel and accommodation costs.

"If Baghdasarov has money for a chess club, why then doesn't he pay
off the debts? Or, has he decided to let down this team by not paying
their money after the tournament?" asks the paper.
