ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION URGES NATO SECRETARY GENERAL TO PAY ATTENTION TO XENOPHOBIA AND RACISM POLICY IN AZERBAIJAN

The Armenian Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly attended
the plenary session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Croatia on
October 11-14.
Koryun Nahapetyan, Head of the Armenian Delegation, MP from the
ruling Republican Party of Armenia, said at today's press conference
that the session covered a wide spectrum of international issues,
including the Syrian crisis, the situation in Afghanistan, etc. NATO
Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen made a speech at the session.
"During the debates on security problems and cooperation between
NATO and the partner states, we called on Rasmussen to pay attention
to the xenophobia and racism policy conducted in Azerbaijan, one of
partner states of NATO. We stressed that the propaganda of hatred
and the anti-Armenian hysteria do not contribute to stability and
security in the region", he said.
