ZARUHI POSTANJYAN DEMANDS POLICE TO ISOLATE KHACHIK ASRYAN

Armenian parliamentarian Zaruhi Postanjyan demands the Police to
isolate Khachik Asryan, Head of Hayots Artsivner NGO. Postanjyan told
media, Thursday, that Asryan's calls and threats have been made public
    by media.

"The law-enforcement should bring charges against Asryan and isolate
him. These are preventive measures. Otherwise, other people may have
a desire to fulfill Asryan's demands and threats," Postanjyan said.

Meanwhile, the parliamentarian said, she understands the criticism
by oppositionists, as they do not threat or offence her.

Postanjyan said that she don't mind being accompanied by police
officers in public transport and in the street, as people in the
country are persecuted for their political views.

To recall, Zaruhi Postanjyan's question at PACE's session about
"President Serzh Sargsyan's loss of 70 mln EUR at one of the European
casinos" caused a storm of criticism among the Armenian political
forces which think that Postanjyan has defamed the republic.

Afterwards, the parliament speaker expressed an intention to replace
Postanjyan in the Delegation. Quite recently, Zaruhi Postanjyan applied
to Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan to ensure her security
and the security of her relatives against possible attacks of Deputy
Minister of Sport and Youth Khachik Asryan and his supporters.

Postanjyan was seriously concerned about Asryan's statement that
after Postanjyan's question to Serzh Sargsyan "it is necessary to
execute Postanjyan by burning, however, not like Joan of Arc but the
way Ramil Safarov should be executed".
