Baku. Victoria Dementieva - APA. At the meeting with Executive Director
of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Yury Fedotov,
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan invited UNODC to conduct a
study on the allegations that Nagorno Karabakh region is used for
drug trafficking, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.

"At the meeting on Tuesday, Sargsyan noted misinformation spread by
Azerbaijan that Nagorno -Karabakh is allegedly a transit region for
drug trafficking and called these allegations groundless," says a
statement issued by the Armenian Prime Minister's press service.

Sargsyan proposed the UN to conduct study in this regard. The reaction
of the UN representative to this issue has not been revealed.
