MARCH IN YEREVAN TO DEMAND DUE PROCESS IN PROSHYAN MAYOR'S MURDER CASE

Activists of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary
Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) organized on Tuesday a procession
in Yerevan to call for measures toeards resolving the murder of Hrach
Muradyan, the governor of the Proshyan village (Kotayk region).
The participants headed to the presidential palace from Liberty Square.
"Today's procession is aimed at presenting our concerns to the
president," said Armen Roustamyan of the ARF-D Bureau. "The state
has to commit itself to the protection of such people instead of
encouraging villains to root out this type."
Muradyan, a member of the ARF-D, was killed outside the Proshyan
Village Administration on April 2.
