Leader of `The Great Union Party', a Turkish far-right Islamist party,
in a cynical manner compared the work of Turkish match-fixing lobby
with the efforts of the Armenian lobby.
Mustafa Destici regrets over UEFA decision, adding that Turkish
match-fixing lobby is stronger than the Armenian lobby, Haberyurdum
reported.
`Turkish match-fixing lobby achieved adoption of two bills in the
parliament, whereas Armenian lobby has been struggling for years for
adoption of a bill recognizing the Armenian Genocide,' Destici said.
According to the UEFA decision, Fenerbahce was excluded from
participating in the next two UEFA club competitions for which they
would qualify.
